Amazon is an excellent option as it uses your existing Amazon credentials.

If I'd known that the payment module could be used without their webstore I would have chosen it rather than Moneybookers. Thanks to Ladystrange for flagging it up.

This idea is already planned to be integrated into Eciwd (i.e. its integration has already been added to Ecwid developers’ working schedule):

so it will be added to one of the nest versions of Ecwid.

Default Squaredup.com?

Is it going to be possible to link my squaredup.com account to my site? I much prefer it to PayPal and am wondering if Ecwid is in talks with the folks there to make this a possibility.

Thanks,
Kalyn

Is Squaredup.com going to become one of ecwid's integrated payment methods?

Unfortunately, Ecwid does not support Square credit card system, since they do not have an API for on-line e-commerce transactions to our regret. We would really be eager to integrated Square with Ecwid, but this is not technically possible yet.

Meanwhile please vote for this idea:

It is unlikely that Square would ever be integrated with Ecwid because of Square's target market; however, an alternative is to get a traditional merchant account, and use the same payment gateway for your online store on your mobile device. When all is said and done, such a solution should cost you less overall, unless you average less than $1,000.00 per month in sales.
