Exclamation Upload Limit - 100mb for downloads

Hey ECWID,

I'm currently in the process of building out my store, coming along great, best piece of code I've found for wordpress so far!

However, one downfall is the upload limit for downloadable content. I'm an editorial photographer and my sets easily go 200-300mb+ zipped up.

Is there a way I can get this fixed to increase the limit or have the files hosted on my own server?

Thanks

One way to do it would be to upload a plain text file with instructions on how to download the file from your server.

I have created a script that allows files in excess of 100mb to be downloaded from a unique url for every transaction.

It works on the basis of you hosting the files on your website. The customer never gets to see the location of the file.

You try a test version of it here - http://www.ecwidmadeeasy.com/?p=24 and let me know what you think.

I see a few posts now on this script, but I'm not finding any further info that assists with this. Is there any news?
Thank you,
Stephen

This is also a major limitation for us, need to be able to sell downloads that are hosted on S3 and use S3 bandwidth. Some of our files (software) can reach 2.5GB.

Hopefully, there is a solution.

Teknow,

That download script became defunct after Ecwid introduced the built in download for Ecwid.
