MD5 Hash Value : ???? What is that? <<< this is the start of the problem. The authorize.net rep told me it is up to me if I wanted to use it or not as it was an "added security measure." So I went to my authorize.net put in a phrase and hit save and went to ecwid and typed the exact same phrase into ecwid. so if the md5 hash phrase was 21jumpstreet I put that into ecwid as well.
Hit transaction type as authorize and captive and then save.
I tried to put in a transaction with my card and it says "Transaction Failed" yet, over at authorize.net the payment really did go through and I had to void the transaction.
I hope that is detailed enough to explain the situation.
