I recently set up the Google merchant feed and my products are loaded into google but not appearing because it is not receiving mpn data, even though I have included it in Ecwid. The feed was updated in Google this morning, so everything should be current. See screenshots.

Hello - we can't get your shipping process to work for us - because our different type of products have different cost to ship - we can't just do it by weight

right now we are trying to setup our books we sell - I was able to create a flat rate for the books for four regions US - Canada - Mexico and Other International but there is no way to attach to all of our books these regions showing the proper shipping prices that I can see

plus for another type of product we will have a new set of flate rate shipping

how can I point say our books to just see the regions we setup for shipping books
the flat rates by region and the same for a different product that will have a different set of flat rates

all I see in shipping linked to the product is the general flat rates or Global Flat rates, no way to associate the flat rates we set up

HELP - we can't speak to anyone live - it would really help if we could

When I click this link ( https://apps.facebook.com/ecwid-shop/ ) to add a shopping cart to a FB page I olny see one of the shopping carts I own.

How do I get the other carts I've created to show up? I logged into those other accounts and then initiated the same process. But the same cart pops up as the only option to be installed.

So, how do I jump between the various accounts I manage to add them to different Facebook accounts?

I have several Ecwid accounts that I manage for clients. I have them all set-up separately, and have created a FB App Page to host them all. I then used one Wordpress to create a Fanpage to feed into FB. (Using Fanpage Connect) Everything seemed to be working well.....

When I view the Fanpages from my computer, I see the Fanpage pulling in, I see the Ecwid shopping cart.... BUUUT when I look at it from any other computer --> no Ecwid shopping cart. ????

Just building our first Ecwid store, and I love it!

There's one thing I'd like to do that I'm not sure is possible...

We sell fishing tackle. Reels are round, and a 3 x 3 grid view works really well for this category.

But because rods are long and thin I want them to display in 1 column.

I've managed to get the display the two ways I want using:

But that changes it for the whole store.

Is there a way to define the category view as different per category ID?

Im not sure Ive got this sorted yet.
Paypal express no problem. But recently when someone buys through paypal or credit card they are not getting charged shipping when they go through paypal (I only accept paypal) so the order gets queues in ecwid. Ive tried making some changes but the language of what to do seems to have changed. I need to (I think) override and shipping charge paypal wants to make and include the ecwid charges..
Is it this setting?
"Click here to allow transaction-based postage values to override the profile postage settings listed above (if profile settings are enabled)." on profile/postage calculations in paypal?
Her are two screenshots from an order today. In ecwid there is a £4.10 shipping charge but in paypal there is nothing? so the customers pays what he sees and the order gets jammed. Happened last week, and only on paypal or credit card. I have taken them both offline until I get it sorted. Ive made some adjustments according to your how to set it up info..but a quick look would really help me..?

I have one item that I'm selling in quantities of 10, 25, 50 and 100. I have a inventory count 1000. Is Ecwid capable of keeping an accurate count of my inventory? If I sell one item of the 100 count, will my inventory show a count of 900? If Ecwid isn't designed with this functionality, is there another way for me to accomplish this?

I would like to do the following...

I will have multiple events throughout the month that I would like to create and sell tickets to.

so the setup would be you would come to the site... pick the event seminar you want to attend... there is a buy tickets button and the page would be linked to either a page where ecwid cart is or ideally a specific product that has that exact event and payment method by ecwid... like a direct product link.

When purchasing the product I would perhaps like to have them receive documents or perhaps a passcode to access documents but that is the least of my issues for now...

what would be the best method for doing this?

I would also like for the person to be able to purchase 1 product for one seminar and also be able to purchase package deals I set up for the more than one seminar per subject situation. i.e. if a course has 3 exams there may be 9 seminars in total and a package deal that would give them the ability to pay for the package...

Hi, I'm emulating Authorize.net, following the instructions I use the following fields:

x_trans_id
x_invoice_num
x_amount

Once the transacction succed at my gateway I want to use ORDER API to update paymentStatus to ACCEPTED, but it´s necesary provide the Order number (as an integer).
How can retrive it??? the only value I can handle is x_invoice_number which is other value than the order
e g: For a order number #9 the invoice is 8990974.

Can you help me please ???

Hi, I am a novice. I just got setup recently with an ecwid account and decided to use paypal as our payment option. I got setup with a paypal advanced account, but I want to know if I need to change anything else in the setup page on the paypal manager account other than the recommended: "Set Enable Secure Token to Yes"? I changed the 'Transaction Process Mode' to 'Live' but I was advised by PayPal that unless the shopping cart provider advises me, I should not change anything else in the setup since the shopping cart provider may already have that configured? Due to novice status I am totally lost. Please help.
I have only three shipping methods on my site. USPS Standard, USPS Priority and Local pick up. The three choices do not show at check out and the Local Pick up charges a large amount before the customer goes to the checkout. I have followed instructions, no go.
Is there anyone who can fix this.

I've built a demo store for lit-lift.com, but going to the page shows a loading bar and then nothing--sometimes it just stops, and sometimes it goes to a blank white page. This is the direct link to the store:

I've tried both the Wordpress plugin and simply dropping in the PHP code on a page, both have the same results. (Currently it's using the WP plugin.)

I'm not sure if the theme I'm using is causing AJAX problems but I'd really like to get this figured out, since we just paid for a year of the Venture plan. Any ideas? Any help is appreciated.

Хочу. чтобы значок корзины был в верхнем правом углу ( в хэдере). Использую Wix.
Сначала создала отдельные HTML элементы для корзины, меню и поиска. Получалось, что окно корзины всплывало или позади всех окон и не было его видно, или оно блокировало верхнее меню. Потом прочитала у вас на форуме, что создавать разные html элементы нельзя. Если я вставляю коды всех элементов в один HTML блок, то у меня пропадает возможность разделить корзину и группы товаров. А мне нужно, чтобы значок корзины всегда был виден справа сверху, а группы товаров уже появлялись на конкретной странице. И чтобы при открытии корзины не возникало окно, которое можно двигать, а, например, осуществлялся переход на страницу с корзиной.

и второй вопрос сразу. У меня есть разделение на две категории товаров- товары для дома и товары для невест. Есть ли возможность на каждой отдельной странице показывать каталог только соответствующих товаров. Или хотя бы поменять эти группы местами, чтобы на каждой странице сначала шла группа нужных товаров с подменю, а потом уже группа других товаров. И опять же, совершенно не нужна функциональность всплывающего окна, когда я выбираю категорию. Как этого избежать?

Можно ли настроить форму заказа таким образом, чтобы пользователь мог ввести свой электронный адрес (рядом с телефоном к примеру). И чтобы я мог увидеть этот адрес в e-mail уведомлении о новом заказе.
Где-то видел пост о том, что это настраивается в Настройки-Почта..
Но в моей админ-панели нет вкладки "Почта"

I have attempted multiple times to log into my Control Panel. After many "page not responding", I finally get into my Control Panel but as soon as I click on anything, I receive a message the page is not responding due to long running script. It gives an option to stop the script, which I do, but then the page never loads. I have been trying all day today.

I deleted the product (SKU 00001) AND the category it was in (Tablets), but the deleted product and category still show up in my store. Also, the product HTML code for my only existing product (SKU 00002) does not show any thumbnail (other than the default camera image) even though I have a thumbnail picture uploaded to the Ecwid server. Am I missing something here?

I am using the ecwid cart for a website for a summer school that takes place starting from July 1 - the school offer multiple bookable activities with limited places for each. The problem I have is that even though we have set for example horse-riding to 12 places, the system has allowed 14 to be sold so far and the stock numbers seem to still be showing 12 available.

At which point does the stock number go down?

подскажите пожалуйста по поводу аналитики.

В Google Analytics и Яндекс.Вебмастер видно что люди приходя по определенному запросу из сео-статей в /blog, потом посещают к примеру /contacts и переходят на страницу /store и всё.

Каким образом можно отследить поведение по категориям эквида? и страницам товаров? Какие категории чаще посещают, а на какие не заходят вовсе и так далее.. На данный момент /store получается как бездонное дно, трафик сливается и всё, что там далее происходит не понятно, уходят люди зашедшие по запросу "кондиционеры" или делают заказ? или это всё такие заказы делают зашедшие по запросу "вентиляторы" и этот запрос стоит продвигать больше как более платежеспособный.

2º) If i had several accounts , and I want to copy the online shop database of one account, in the shop of the other account.How can I export/import the database from one accoun to the other.

Hi,

I am a total beginner, sorry for silly questions...
I have created an ECWID account, I have copied and pasted the product browser code onto the page I want it to show in my site, but when I refresh the page nothing happens.
I have updated the store front URL ( in case that has anything to do with this ? )
I am using a OS X 10.8.4 and I have tried both Safari and Chrome...
The website host is Webs.com

The single product HTML code works ok but it shows up without the ADD TO BAG button..

Hi,

I am new to Ecwid.
I have just started up the shipping prices. But have encountered a problem.

I've set up two flat rate shipping methods, I check to see that they are working.
They stay there for a bit then disappear. When I look at the shipping area on the control panel, they've deleted themselves and have been replaced with a canada post carrier setting.

How can I stop this from happening?

Or is there another way to set up flat rates?

I am not getting a place to put in a tracking code.
I have had several orders and offer free shipping I use paypal for shipping USPS but I am not sure that many of them are getting a tracking # since most are not paypal members. Where do I put the code in? I thought it asked me on my first order but now it doesn't. I hit ship on my orders and nothing more is asked and I don't see a place to put the #'s in.

What am I missing?

Дело в том, что при большем чмсле категорий и подкатегорий, вертикальное меню растягивается вниз слишком длинно.

I have 3 shipping zones - UK, EU and Rest of the World. These have already been set up.
I have products each of which have 3 fixed shipping rates - one for each zone.

For example Product A:
UK - £3.50, EU - £4.00, Rest of World - £6.50
For example Product B:
UK - £4.75, EU - £5.25, Rest of World - £8.00

If a customer from say Brazil orders product B they should get a shipping cost of £8.00.
If they put 2 in the basket then they get charged 2 x £8.00. So no sliding scales or weights - just a fixed amount.

How do I do this?

Есть группа ВКонтакте, в которой мы используем приложение Ecwid.

Подскажите, пожалуйста, как подключить оплату Робокассой? Я смотрел инструкции, там везде сказано про сайт. Мы же используем Ecwid только в ВК. Что указывать в домене третьего уровня - делать все по инструкции с нашим сайтом или ставить ссылку на контакт?

I've just installed ecwid and I have a free audio extract, but when they click on it it or any of the products it just gives it a tick, it doesn't open the bag or go to the checkout or ask if they want to go to the checkout, it just sits there. In the backend, I tried adding the audio extract link in the description but there is no link in the GUI on ecwid in that spot and I added it as an e-good, but neither works.

How does Order ID look for the very first order? Does it start from 0? Or is it customisable to my own need? For example, yyddmm1 (1406131 for first order on 14/Jun, 1406132 for second order placed 14/Jun, 21061320 for 20th order placed on 21/Jun and so on)?

Can I set Terms and Conditions differently for each product? Currently, it is only at Check out page. So, I suppose T&C is universal across all products.
Where else can I show T&C other than in a pop up window? Can I include it in the printable invoice on 'Thank you for your order' page and order confirmation that is sent to customer's email?

Is there any way to remove SKU in the item code?

I'm not sure if this is possible. We sell stamps, there is a (text)box on the order page, to allow you to type the lines of type you would like on the stamp. Is there a way to use this (text)box but after you type, be able to see a preview of the 3 or 4 lines you typed (font, color, whats on what line etc etc). It would kind of be giving the customer the same type boxes I use as I build my site (font color etc etc). Is this possible?

The first time I uploaded images, the second item image was too large, so I deleted it and uploaded an image that was 500x500 - the same as the first item image. But it is still aligning lower and I cannot figure out how to fix this.

I wanted to add sizes for my products.
I know you can add options for your products. But I am a bit worried about adding them that way, as i am not 100% sure if once someone has bought that size (say i only have 1 in every size) someone else can still purchase that same size and then I have 2 people that have bought the same product and i only have one of that product. Is there a way that it would be removed once purchased to stop that from happening? At the moment I have my different sizes set up as different products but it is not ideal doing it that way.

Hi,
I really like Ecwid and use it for my photography website- store link.

The problem is that I'm an amateur photographer and get virtually 0 sales despite a fair few hits on my site. (I know it's up to me to market, advertise etc.)
And as it's a photoraphy website ideally I'd have hundreds of photos on sale. Which means that it'd cose me €350 p.a. which I can't afford since I have so few sales. If my sales even covered the annual cost I'd be okay.
But as I'm an amateur and it's nice to have a buy prints page but it's not my living I'm not going to pay that amount up front.

It'll be a pity to have to change to another solution as I really like the Control Panel GUI.
Just wondering is anyone in a similar position or are mot people professionals?

Обратили внимание, что многие покупатели добавляют товар в корзину, но ленятся вводить свои данные. Особенно остро не хотят вводить e-mail и почтовый индекс. Если необходимость других полей очевидна покупателю, то эти поля особенно непонятные - зачем они нужны и где их взять. В итоге на этом месте процесс покупки может оборваться.
Мы понимаем, что сейчас ведутся работы над функционалом редактирования необходимых полей.
Но хочется какое-то срочное решение. Например мы видим два варианта улучшения понимания этих полей:
1) сделать подсказки к полям, в которых написать текст что-то типа: "если не знаете какой написать индекс, то напишите 0 и мы сами найдем ваш индекс, не переживайте" и "если у вас нет адреса электронной почты, то просто используйте наш: info@site.ru"
2) сделать эти поля предварительно заполненными некими образцовыми данными: в индексе поставить например "000000", а в e-mail наш адрес эл.почты.
Помогите, пожалуйста, выбрать оптимальное решение. Может быть есть другие предложения на эту тему?
И самое главное - как все это сделать? :)

I am lucky enough to have a serious problem soon to arise. I am the main character in a reality show coming up soon, I expect 100,000+ visits per night to my site and will Ecwid be able to handle that volume? I will be moving to a cloud server shotly but if my shopping solution is hosted on Ecwid will my traffic take it down?

I have been WRACKING my brain trying to find the right solution for me, I think Ecwid is it, so far I like it with the small amount of orders I have gotten, I do have a few questions about paypal express and "moving the bag" but other than that I have a gut feeling that if Ecwid can handle high traffic I will stay with it, pretty much everything else for WP sucks

Заметил, что с отключенным JavaScript в браузере очень долго грузится страница. Все бы ничего, но:
1. При создании рекламных компаний в Яндекс Директ, когда указываешь ссылку на страницу сгенерированную через сеокаталог, Яндекс пишет, что сайт не отвечает больше 7 секунд и не позволяет перейти на следующий шаг настройки рекламной кампании.
2. Категории (из-за медленной загрузки контента) с большим количеством товаров "выбрасываются" из базы Яндекса, т.к. по его мнению это "косяк" CMS и такую страницу не стоит показывать пользователю в поисковой выдаче.
3. В IE8 и IE9 просто нереально долго грузится такая страница.
4. Смотрим статистику - много отказов, посетители не могут дождаться загрузки страницы.
Если я правильно понимаю (поправьте, если ошибаюсь), то скорость подгрузки страницы через сеокаталог в основном зависит от возможностей (настройки) ваших серверов, ведь с них поисковому роботу отдается информация.

Есть ли возможность увеличить скорость загрузки?

На Ajax индексацию пока не хочу переходить, т.к. по опыту Vsemrad (вот результат) ничего хорошего из этого не вышло с Яндексом.

I am trying to create the shipping rules, am shipping from inside the US to everywhere.
I have set "The World" as the region in shipping methods, but I am confused about the zones and what they should (or shouldn't) be set at.
When our test people try to place an order, they get the message "we don't ship to that region."
Can someone take a look for me and tell me what I've done wrong?

Hello, I have a customer that needs all of the orders for an audit. When they sign onto their account they only see 36 orders. When I search on ecwid our end I only see 36 orders under the customer name. When I search all sales I see all 115 order from the customer when I type the name in? What is it only showing 36 orders to the customer and under the customer page for us?

My online store allows for a user to enter their credit card information and hit submit, but an error occurs at that point that says "User Authentication Failed: Inquiry". I am able to log into my PayPal Manager account and see that the system was trying to process the payment on the daily activity report, but it shows that "User Authentication Failed" on the transaction. Do you know how to fix that?
